Description of service

DownSub provides tools to download subtitles and transcripts, translate captions, summarize videos, process playlists, and access these capabilities through an API.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time to improve the service.

Acceptable use

You agree to use DownSub only for lawful purposes and to respect the intellectual property rights of content owners.

You may not use our services to infringe copyrights, distribute unlawful content, abuse the platform, or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer our systems.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Intellectual property

DownSub and its original content, features, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. Subtitles and transcripts you extract remain subject to the rights of their original owners.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DownSub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to DownSub if you violate these terms or misuse the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of DownSub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
